Finally someone else that feels that way besides me and my family.<BR/><BR/>When I was ten, my mom's cousin came to live with us. He has down syndrome and is now over 60 years old. My mom is his legal guardian and if something happens to her, we will take her place.<BR/><BR/>We were taught to never use that 'r' word. I can't stand it and I openly fuss at people who use it.
